Our Personal Isagenix Story
A Long Time Ago
Well, it really wasn’t that long ago, though it really feels that way, when I personally weight 298lbs. The picture above just about says it all, for me at the time anyhow!
Isagenix was a journey I looked into at first, more so than my wife. See, ever since I could remember, I was the fat kid. You know the one who was always picked last during gym class, never had a girlfriend, broke the chair in school when I sat in it, and the recipient of every fat joke you could imagine. Yes sir, that was me! (I have tried to find a picture but haven’t been able to yet. I hated who I was back then that all the pics I used to have were destroyed! Take my word for it, I WAS FAT!)
So How Did I Lose All My Weight
OK, so here is where I tell you that I started to use the Isagenix Products and amazingly in just a few short months I was skinny! Right? WRONG! As a matter of fact I actually lost over 100lbs. before ever learning about Isagenix through shear determination. I started eating better & working out. Truth is I was only about 50lbs. over weight when I did learn about Isagenix in 2007.
Why Were We Drawn To Isagenix?
One day we were browsing online, as some of you might have been doing when you found our website, and there were some videos about cleansing. We were not familiar with cleansing, other than we had heard some people talk about how they lost a bunch of weight, or knew someone that had, by using different types of cleanse.
We were curious enough to watch one of the videos, which happen to be about the Isagenix 9 Day Cleanse. In the video there were 2 things that grabbed our attention.
- People seen results within the first few days! Immediate Gratification is a big deal when it comes to weight loss!
- There were testimonies of people who had lost a lot of weight and the elasticity of their skin tightened as their bodies shrunk!
Why Are Those 2 Things So Important
Well, for starters, if you lost 100lbs, as quickly as I did, you would realize that your elasticity didn’t tighten as your body shrunk. So even though I had lost a lot of weight, I was still very uncomfortable in my own skin. Can anyone relate?
Second of all, when it comes to losing weight, especially for people who are obese, seeing results are so important. The quicker, the better! Because people are able to physically see the products working, and internally feel the changes as well, in just a few days, that in itself is a huge motivator! (It was for us anyhow!)
Skeptical But Had To Give It A Try!
Though everything we heard on the video, and dug around on the website to validate the claims, sounded awesome, it still took us 3 months before we decided to place our order. Hey we are all skeptical at first, so if that is you… 
Melisa and I both ordered our own 9 Day Cleanse. We were so jacked up in anticipation for that UPS man to hurry up and deliver us our goodies we could hardly stand it. Just the “thought” of feeling comfortable in our own skin was motivating!
Our package arrived and we followed the system guide to the “T!” Both of us lost 12lbs. and several inches. Everything we heard about Isagenix was validated. I remember weighing ourselves on the 5th day of the system and seeing that we had already lost 6lbs. It was obvious and definitely the motivating factor to keep us going. The products really work!
Our Conclusion
I have lost more than 50lbs and kept it off. Melisa dropped close to 40lbs and looks amazing! Because we had such great results, we now spend our time educating others on these life changing products. Isagenix has been a blessing in our lives in so many ways.
Our kids love the IsaKids Essentials vitamins & the IsaSnacks. Both our little boys are called, “IsaBabies,” because they grew up on the IsaLean Shakes. Oh, and when we stock the Slim Cakes and IsaLean Bars, forget about it. Everyone in the house fights over them. Products that are good for you, and taste good…! I am getting hungry just typing this. Heh heh
Though we still don’t necessarily look forward to our cleanse days, just because we really love to eat, the results are so worth the investment!
