If you are going to have any success with the Isagenix Home Based Business Opportunity it is important that you understand those 3 principles. There is a different mindset required to build a long-term, passive, residual income, than that of earning an income on a job.

Long-term Thinking

Most people, upon graduating high school and/or college, begin working in their chosen field. Upon hiring on and finding a satisfactory job, we will work on our job for the next 30-45 years. Amazingly, the thought of spending that many years exchanging time for money doesn’t seem to phase people. I believe this is simply because it is all most know to do. For years I was a full-time carpet installer running my own small business. It was true for me, I didn’t know anything else, so I did what I was good at!

Why is this important? If you decide that you are going to Build A Community With Isagenix, are you willing to commit the next 2, 5, or even 15 years of your life to build it? See, even though it is normal for people to spend 40+ years working a job before they retire, or these days hope to retire, when it comes to building a business, most will try for 90 days and if they are not making a full-time income will quit. However, if you are willing to commit at least 10 hours per week, in addition to your normal job, consistently for the next 2-5 years, sometimes quicker and sometimes slower, it is possible that you can quit your job and never have to look for work again the rest of your life. After all, Retirement Isn’t Based On Age, when you have enough money to live the rest of your life without needing to work, by definition you can retire! Who would like to retire in 2-5 years as opposed to 45?

Delayed Gratification

Building a pipeline income will take some time, and at the start you may invest more money into building the pipeline than you actually make. However, once that baby is built it will put money in your pocket 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on auto-pilot! A true, make money while you sleep business.

Robert says the 2nd key to building wealth is delayed gratification. This basically means, set some goals and don’t just buy what you want when you want it. Just because you can afford something doesn’t mean you should always buy it! A multi-millionaire mentor of mine once said, “Ron, if you think not spending money when you don’t have any is tough, imagine how tough it is not to spend it when you do have it!” Wealthy people are very wise with their prosperity, and for that reason they have been blessed with an abundance of it.

While you are building your Isagenix Community you may have to offset some of your spending. Perhaps eliminating eating out, cable television, bowling leagues, or playing golf every weekend. Remember, this is only temporary. By delaying your gratification now, once your pipeline has been built, you will have the time & money freedom to do whatever you like, whenever you want! Compounding

When you were a kid, perhaps one of your friends asked you the following trick question: “Would you rather have $10,000 per day for 30 days or a penny that doubled in value every day for 30 days?” Today, we know to choose the doubling penny, because at the end of 30 days, we’d have about $5 million versus the $300,000 we’d have if we chose $10,000 per day.

Compound interest is often called the eighth wonder of the world, because it seems to possess magical powers, like turning a penny into $5 million. The great part about compound interest is that it applies to money, and it helps us to achieve our financial goals, such as becoming a millionaire, retiring comfortably, or being financially independent.

Applying this same wisdom to your Isagenix business, understand that when you first begin you are like that 1 penny. However, as time goes on and your community starts to build, 1 penny turns into 2 pennies, turns into 4 pennies, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128…. You get the picture!
